Charge your smartphone in 30 seconds

Science has really changed our way of life, the way for living. We know that we need to every day charge our phone uncommonly smartphone which is a problem.This new battery can take care of this issue which can completely charge your cell phone within 30 second developed by Storedot.

The Storedot, israelian company reached at its destination and has developed a special type of battery that can charge a cell phone in only 30 seconds, and could be use to charge an electric auto inside minutes.
In StoreDot's experiment, the battery completely charged a dead Samsung S4 inside 26 seconds. "To charge that in 26 seconds would require 100mAh [milliampere-hour] of charge to be delivered every second,” says Steve McCaskill at TechWeek Europe.In addition to this he said that this technology will also be available to charge the car batteries and other devices in seconds.

Electricity from football- 'Soccket'

From last couple of decades, Electricity has became a part of our life. It is being used extensively in everyday life. But unfortunately about one third of world's population is living without electricity and one of the major cause of this is poverty. 
Jessica O. Matthews and Julia Silverman, in 2008, founded a company names Uncharted Play. The two were part of an engineering class for non-engineers. They were given an assignment to come up with an idea so as to tackle some of the global problem.  Matthews, whose family is Nigeria, knew about power problems where less than 25% of population has access to reliable electricity. Keeping these in their minds, they both came up with the idea of 'Soccket'.
The Soccket may look like a soccer ball, but it's an energy source as well. Its use is very simple like that of a soccer ball. When kicking the Soccket, the internal mechanism converts the kinetic energy into electricity. So by kicking it for around half an hour, we get enough energy to charge a basic cell phone.  Thus a full charge, 72 hours, can be had for 16 hours of play.
The basic idea for developing such a source of electricity is not only restricted to provide an electric supply to those people who don't have electric supply but also to save the environment from toxic material that came out by burning or fuels to meet the need.
The current version of Soccket is flammable because an inflammable version didn't worked. The Soccket is two ounces heavier than a standard soccer ball. The Charted Play is still working on it to make it bouncy. 

The company has tested the balls in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil and parts of Africa and conducted a successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this year.  It’s now taking online orders through its website.
Matthews has said there are hopes of expanding to other sports, such as basketball. People across the globe may soon find themselves powering their homes by doing something as delightful and simple as playing a game.

Light without electricity? The GravityLight

It seems to be luxury by turning on the lights with a wink of switch. But for the third of world's population that lives without electricity, something as simple for getting light can be a costly challenge.
To relieve people from such challenge, here comes GravityLight- a simple device that generates light without availability of electricity.
The device doesn't require any battery, fuel or mechanical effort to generate light. Instead, you hang the device on a wall and attach a heavy material, such as rock or dirt. Then you simple lift the bag and let it go.

Electronic devices are charged with the help of USB cable. The device assures to be much more effective then the traditional and powerful power packs as well as solar chargers, which works slowly as well as their performance depends upon the weather.
